Questions about signing a PDF

Is a visual signature the same as a digital signature?
No. A visual signature is a mark placed on the page. A certificate-based digital signature uses cryptography to verify identity and document integrity, which VixPDF does not provide.
Can I draw a signature or use an image?
Yes. Draw in the signature panel or choose a signature image, then move and resize the result on the intended page.
Does VixPDF store my signature?
No signature database is created. The visual mark stays in the current browser editing session and becomes part of the PDF you export.
